I talked
about the 3 day military diet and today I’m on the vegan diet
Is it healthy or not.?
The vegan
diet contains only veggies, grains, nuts and fruits. If you want to try out the
vegan diet you should make sure to have all the facts right first.
1.First you’ll
have to find other sources of protein like natural soy, lentils, and beans
2.There is
vitamin B12 which is in animals naturally but since you can’t have animal meat you’ll
have to stock up on B12- fortified foods. The vitamin is super important to
your body since it keeps the body nerve cells and blood cells and helps make
DNA. Without it will lead you to tiredness, weakness, constipation, loss of
weight {the freakish and terrible kind}, nerve problems and depression.
3.You also
have to stock up on vitamin C rich food like red peppers, citrus and broccoli
which aid in iron absorption.
4.There will
be questions especially from family members. You have to make the diet about
you because people tend to be sensitive to diets and family members and friends
might discourage you. Make the diet yours.
5.You have to
take it slow and easy on soy products. Consuming too much soy meat might give
you complications since it has so many chemicals that harm your body which is
worse that consuming high quality animal product. Meat subs are often loaded
with sodium and preservatives so always read the label well. Healthy soy
sources are soy milk and tofu.
When
switching to vegan you can start slow by cutting off animal products one at a
time and adding more veggies to your diet.
With a vegan
diet always read labels and make sure to balance it well so you don’t end up suffering
from malnutrition
